Frequently Asked Questions

-I’ve looked at your website, what should I do now?

Contact us and we will schedule a time to talk with you about your event.

-Does Curt’s Caterers have a function hall?

We do not have a function hall. We specialize in off-premise catering, traveling around the state to private homes and function halls.

-Is that your daughter?

Yes! All three of Curt and Joanne’s children are an integral part of the business. Now in their twenties, their three daughters have years of experience in catering, and like their parents, are passionate about food and feeding people!

-I live in another state and cannot meet in person, is that okay?

Of course! Phone meetings are entirely acceptable. We realize it isn’t always possible for everyone to meet with us in our Gilford office.

-How do I “Save the date” for my event with Curt’s Caterers?

To “Save the Date” for your event, please send a $500 deposit to: PO Box 715, Moultonborough, NH 03254

-What do you require for a workspace?  Do you need a full kitchen?

We are flexible and will work out the specifics with each client. However, regardless of where the event is taking place, we require protection from the elements, for the wellbeing of the food and our staff.

-Is there a maximum or minimum number of guests I can have at my event?

We cater functions for as many as 500 and as few as 2. With our years of experience, we are able to accommodate crowds of varied sizes.

-When do you need to know how many guests are attending my party?

Ten days before your event we need a minimum number of guests. That number may not decrease, however, you may add guests to the count up until the day before the event.

-Do you have plates/flatware/glassware that can be used at my event?

We have plates, flatware, glassware, serving utensils, platters, chaffers,  etc. which we are more than happy to provide for your event.

-Do you have tables and chairs which can be used at my event?

We do not provide tables and chairs. There are, however, many local and national companies that provide these items for your use. We are happy to work with you and a rental company to determine what you will need for your individual event.

-I am having an outdoor event, what do you recommend I do to prepare?

Rent a tent. The weather in New England is unpredictable. Tents provide protection from the elements, whether it be 90 degree beaming sun or torrential rain. If you’re planning on having your guests sit down, make sure you have a flat space that is large enough to accommodate your guests.

-Does your catering service include clean up?

Absolutely. At the end of an event, the staff at Curt’s Caterers will ensure that before they leave your home/function hall, the kitchen and eating areas are as clean as they were when we arrived.
